Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to plead with their club to bring Axel Tuanzebe back to the club from Manchester United.
These calls came after the official Aston Villa Twitter account shared a post on their page wishing their former defender a happy 22nd birthday.
This tweet then led to many Villa fans calling for the club to bring Tuanzebe back to Birmingham.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans missing Tuanzebe:

The defender spent the whole of the 2018/19 season at the Birmingham club in their promotion-winning season. In his time at Villa last season, Tuanzebe made 30 appearances for the club in all competitions (per Transfermarkt).
Now he has returned to his parent club Manchester United, some Villa fans still want the defender back.
Wish he was back at the Villa

What do we think?
From these replies, it shows how much of a fan-favourite Tuanzebe is at Villa despite not playing for them this season. In his current season back at the Manchester club, he has only made five appearances in all competitions (per Transfermarkt). Even though he has suffered from a hip injury this season, Tuanzebe has not managed to get in the United team on a consistent run, so perhaps a return to Villa on loan may be the better option.
