Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to reminisce over former Villa striker Tammy Abraham.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post that included a video of Abraham hugging current Villa player Tyrone Mings after England’s 7-0 thrashing of Montenegro.
This tweet then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who enjoyed seeing the pair together again but a few were sad that Abraham is no longer a Villa player.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans missing Abraham:

Chelsea’s transfer ban didn’t work out so well for us 🙁

Abraham returned to his parent club Chelsea after spending the entirety of last season at Villa on a season-long loan deal (per Transfermarkt). In England’s 7-0 win over Montenegro to secure their place in the 2020 European Championships, the 22-year-old scored the final goal of the game.
Interestingly, Mings wasn’t the only person at Villa to show their happiness for Abraham, as some Villa fans were also pleased to see their former-striker do well for his country.

What do we think?
Abraham, who is currently valued at £28.8 million, according to Transfermarkt, made 40 appearances for Villa during his period there, scoring 26 goals and making three assists (per Transfermarkt), which helped the Midlands club secure promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs last season.
This goes to show what a hit he was at Villa and why some fans still feel an attachment to the striker.
