Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers are worried over a possible Nuno Espirito Santo departure following Unai Emery’s sacking.
On Friday morning, the former Arsenal gaffer was relieved of his duties following a 2-1 defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt at the Emirates Stadium (as per BBC).
In recent weeks the Gunners have been tipped to make a move for the Old Gold’s Portuguese gaffer should the Spaniard get the sack (as per The Mirror).
With Emery relieved of his post with the North London club, Wolves fans were worried over what it could mean for Nuno.
So, Emery gone, reports saying Nuno top of Arsenal’s wanted list.
Key question for Nuno is does he think he’s taken Wolves as far as he can? Fifth in the Prem, Europa knockout stages, stock is sky high.
Fosun want more – and adore Nuno. They wouldnt let him go without a fight.

Would Nuno Espirito Santo be a successful manager with Arsenal?
Yes, he is a fantastic manager
No, they are too much of a mess
The Gunners currently sit three places behind the Old Gold in the Premier League table, with Wolves in fifth and Arsenal eighth (per BBC).
In the same night where the London club suffered a setback in Group F of the Europa League, Nuno’s Wolves confirmed their qualification for the knockout stages from Group K, after a 3-3 draw with Braga (via Sky Sports).
With the Old Gold continuing on their upward trajectory, many were in denial over the possibility of the Portuguese gaffer jumping ship.
Nuno defo should stay where he is. This is 2019, not 2004. Wolves on the up, Arsenal going down and down and down.

Do you think the January transfer window has a part in all this. If Nuno wants to properly strengthen then dare Fosun not back him? If he goes to Arsenal, what money is available for players? Can’t actually see him going anywhere that isn’t nearer to his home.

I don’t think Nuno will manage another club in the PL, when he does finally go it will be Germany Spain or France.

What do we think?
The Old Gold have come an incredibly long way since Nuno took over at Molineux, and there is a clear feeling that they can go much further.
It is doubtless that it would be a huge task for Arsenal to pry the Portuguese 45-year-old from the midlands (per Daily Mail), but not completely impossible.
