Nuno Espirito Santo had sparked the interest in the summer over a move for the Ivorian, but due to the lateness in the window, the transfer never materialised (via Birmingham Mail).
However, with reports circling that the 22-year-old had been transfer-listed by AC Milan (Sport Mediaset, via Football Italia), supporters made their feelings heard.

The Ivorian 22-year-old has an average rating of 6.56/10 this term in the Serie A (as per Whoscored), and youth on his side, so there will certainly be potential for Espirito Santo to work with.
Coupled with the fact AC Milan may be willing to sell at a cut price due to his supposed transfer listing, the deal could make all the more sense for the Old Gold.
