Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have expressed their desire to see Connor Ronan recalled from his loan with Dunajska Streda.
On Tuesday night, Wolves’ loaned out 21-year-old put in a stellar performance for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in a 4-1 victory over Sweden (per FA Ireland).
Tim Spiers was on hand to share the news of the good performance to Old Gold fans’ timelines, and supporters wanted to see Ronan recalled from his loan in Slovakia.
He’s doing exceedingly well for FC Dac 1904. He’ll return a much more mature player & may be given a chance next season in the first team. Surprised Wolves didn’t send a few more youngsters out on loan to the Slovakian club at the start of the season. Perhaps in January?

Surely a better option than MGW and Jordao at present?

Now into the second year of his two-year loan spell in the Fortuna Liga, the Rochdale-born Irishman has three assists in 11 league outings so far this term (per Transfermarkt).
Alongside his three assists, the 21-year-old has managed to net once for his loan club, bagging a vital goal in a Europa League qualifying tie against Cracovia Krakow (per Sky Sports).
With some talking of a recall being a good move for the Old Gold, many were keen to know if their young midfielder had a chance upon his return.

What do we think?
Ronan is progressing well in Slovakia, and proving his worth for Ireland’s Under-21s at an international level, so, it would be best for him to see out his loan with Dunajska Streda.
However, upon his return, it seems as though he will be more than deserving to be given a chance within the first-team set up by Nuno Espirito Santo.
