Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have shared their disappointment over the club being linked with a move for Karlan Grant.
According to a report in the Sun on Sunday (3/11; page 61) (via the Boot Room), Wolves are interested in bringing the 22-year-old Englishman to Molineux.
Despite Grant being in fine form for Huddersfield Town in the Championship (per Transfermarkt), some Wolves fans felt the step up would be too big for the striker.
Not really the player we should be looking at , we need some with more experience in the big leagues

Why the hell are we looking at Championship players?

Grant has scored nine goals in 15 Championship outings for the Terriers this term, including four goals and an assist in his last five games (per Transfermarkt).
The 22-year-old £4.5-million rated man had featured for Town in the Premier League last term, scoring four and assisting one in 13 league outings for the relegated Terriers (via Transfermarkt).
Despite having featured in England’s top-flight, fans were still concerned over his quality and touted other avenues to explore for Espirito Santo.
If you are after someone from the championship Tom Cairney or Jarod Bowen for me. Rest are irrelevant

Not the quality we need I’m afraid

What do we think?
For supporters of a club with a squad thin on the ground for attacking reinforcements, supporters have been quick to turn their nose up at the idea of Grant signing.
The 22-year-old has an average rating of 6.99/10 for the Terriers this term and an impressive 8.42/10 and 7.12/10 in his last two outings (via Whoscored), meaning the Englishman could be a reliable squad player if signed.
