Wolves: Supporters downbeat on early season form

|

Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have aired their negative view on the early season form of the Old Gold.

At the 12 game mark in the Premier League, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sits eighth, having won three, drawn seven and lost only two games (as per BBC).

After Wolves Live posed the question as to what the supporters thought of their early form (via Wolves Live), many could not help but explain their disappointment despite strong positioning in the table.

With seven draws making up a large portion of the Old Gold’s Premier League record, it is clear they are not far away from strong form should those draws begin to turn into wins.

Espirito Santo’s side’s continued involvement in the Europa League could offer as one reason to the number of draws (per The Guardian), and supporters had a few more suggestions.

What do we think?

The fault lying in the hands of the introduction of VAR may not be a bad shout, as the Old Gold have suffered more than any other side due to the introduction of the new technology in terms of points it has cost them (per ESPN).

However, with Wolves looking back at their best in recent weeks (via Express and Star), it seems as though things may continue on an upward trajectory for the Molineux club.
