Wolverhampton Wanderers fans could not contain their admiration of Ruben Neves following a highlights reel posted to Twitter.
The video of the Portuguese 22-year-old highlighted Neves’ key involvements from the Old Gold’s recent clash with Aston Villa (via Analyste Comps), in which the midfielder scored the opening goal.
Supporters were enabled to relive the stellar performance from the middleman all over again, watching the 22-year-old’s best bits and let their admiration gush in the comments.
You just get a quick glimpse of the mercurial John McGinn in one of those shots who’s better than Neves and Moutinho! I think he’s chasing Ruben asking for his shirt.

The midfield maestro picked up a whopping 9/10 rating for his superb outing against the Villans (as per Express and Star), playing a key role in the 2-1 victory.
However, after being considered not to be at his best in recent weeks, along with the rest of the side (via Express and Star), it seems as though the Portuguese playmaker has turned his style back on.
He’s back!

Neves’ tidy finish had the Molineux faithful in such raptures, that some young supporters were copying his trademark celebration whilst watching on from their own home.

What do we think?
With a 6.69/10 average rating for the season so far (per Whoscored), it is clear that the 22-year-old has not been firing on all cylinders for the Old Gold of late.
However, following his high-scoring outing on the rating front against Aston Villa, it seems as though Molineux is set for seeing Neves back at his best.
