Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were pleased with an injury update from Tim Spiers on absentees for Bournemouth.
The Athletic reporter for the Old Gold relayed the news to supporters that the Cherries would likely be without the key figures of Josh King, David Brooks and potentially Ryan Fraser for this weekend’s clash between the two sides (as per Tim Spiers).
With many believing that the absentees would give Wolves and advantage, they were relieved to hear of Eddie Howe’s weakened squad.

The trio of potential injuries for the south-coast club constitute four of the Cherries’ 15 league goals so far this term, and four of their ten assists (per Whoscored).
Therefore, Bournemouth could be without the players which constitute 32% of their total goal involvements in the Premier League so far this term (as per Whoscored).
However, supporters of the Molineux club were quick to raise a few concerns over what this could mean for Saturday’s game.
If we beat teams with injuries it doesn’t count does it?

What do we think?
While the Cherries have been without Brooks all season, after he picked up an ankle injury in July (per BBC), King and Fraser would be big misses for Howe.
Having only missed one Premier League game so far this season between them, they have been stalwarts of the Bournemouth side they could be set to be absent from on Saturday.
