By the time of the 22-year-old’s introduction, A Seleção already had the game out of sight and were cruising 6-0 ahead of Lithuania (via BBC).
Wolves’ international contingent did not stop there for the Old Gold, with Rui Patricio and Ruben Neves starting the clash and Joao Moutinho introduced to the action prior to Jota (via Sky Sports).
With over a third of the team of the field made up of players in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad, many of the Molineux faithful found it remarkable.
4 @Wolves players on!

Rubén Neves was trying REAL hard to pick him out for a goal on his debut. Love to see the Wolfpack representing my country

What do we think?
Wolves’ Portuguese contingent is certainly a strong one and it was impressive to see four of the squad on the pitch at one time.
Hopefully, it will be the first of many more appearances to come for Jota.
