Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have reacted with delight following the news that Real Madrid could be set to recall Jesus Vallejo.
According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are unhappy with the number of minutes the 22-year-old defender has been receiving and are considering a potential January recall (via Sport Witness).
With the news relayed to Twitter by Talking Wolves, many fans were quick to show their delight that the Spaniard may be going through the Molineux exit door.

The Real Madrid loanee had arrived in the summer with plenty of promise (per BBC), however, has failed to live up to expectations.
Despite recent injuries to Willy Boly and Ryan Bennett (per Birmingham Mail), the Spaniard has found a starting XI spot under Nuno Espirito Santo tough to crack and has only made two Premier League appearances (per Transfermarkt).
Vallejo’s parent club are keeping an eye on the number of minutes the 22-year-old centre-back is getting and with a possible recall in January on the cards, supporters pinpointed a better back up in the Wolves ranks.
Would rather Max Kilman play.

Rather Kilman all day over Vallejo

He seems like a top lad but unfortunately when hes played he looks far from a player on Real Madrids books. Expected him to be more comfortable with the ball than he is. Would rather keep on developing Max Kilman who played exceptional vs Bratislava

What do we think?
While it is a tad harsh of the Old Gold supporters to so willingly want to see the back of their on-loan man, it is clear that things just have not worked out for Vallejo at Molineux.
It would, therefore, be best for all parties if the Spaniard was to return to the Santiago Bernabeu in January and find another club on loan to get some first-team action with.
