Manuel Pellegrini faced the media ahead of Saturday’s London derby versus Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium. The Chilean faced questions regarding the pressure he finds himself under, his under-fire goalkeeper Roberto and his relationship with his old adversary Jose Mourinho.
The 66-year-old said all the right things but these supporters have reacted sarcastically to the former Manchester City and Real Madrid boss’ comments.
Can’t wait for the ”we must improve” by some random player after the game COYI

What do we think?
The vast majority of West Ham supporters appear to have lost faith in Manuel Pellegrini. The almost ‘sarcastic’ responses and predictability of the post-match narrative evidences the discontent within the fan base. There is a strong feeling amongst those who follow the club closely that Pellegrini’s days in east London are numbered and given their upcoming run of fixtures which includes games versus Tottenham, Chelsea, Wolves and Arsenal you can understand why.
Tottenham are expected to arrive on Saturday lunch-time with the ‘new manager bounce‘ having recently appointed Jose Mourinho but when it comes to derby day, often the form book goes out of the window – excuse the cliche. Therefore writing off the Hammers chances of securing a famous victory over the old enemy may be premature. You can expect an incredible atmosphere within the Stadium and fingers crossed an entertaining fixture.
