When Michail Antonio tweeted out a video of him messing around with teammate Declan Rice, it was taken with a rather negative reaction by sections of the West Ham United faithful.
Antonio is now back training with the squad after two-and-a-half months on the sidelines, but some of these fans seem less excited for his return after his latest tweet.
The video is of him and Rice just messing about; whilst there’s nothing harmful about it, perhaps a little better judgement was needed considering the situation the team find themselves in currently.

We were all laughing like that on the way back from Burnley Saturday evening

Maybe save the funny tweets for when we are winning (or at least competing) looking forward to seeing you back! Just want to see the boys putting a shift in?

A jokes OK but we don’t really have much to joke about, do we? Sort it on the pitch and have fun when there’s a reason to!

So Funny I hope am still laughing like that next May when I go and get my season tickets to watch championship football

Can we stop messing about and concentrate please? You performance as a team is embarrassing

Not everyone was disappointed in the Englishman, some found it quite funny and others were looking forward to seeing Antonio back in action.
Could do with a bit of your attitude in the changing room right now!

What Do We Think?
There’s no problem with the team having a laugh, as if anything, it’s actually good for the team to be bonding. However, there’s a time and a place for when to post stuff like this, as most fans are still recovering from the terrible 3-0 loss to Burnley. But, as we mentioned above, this wasn’t sent out with harmful intent, it was just poorly timed and wrongly judged.
