Lukasz Fabianski hasn’t played for West Ham United since he sustained a hip injury at Bournemouth on the 28th September. Whilst the Polish stopper has been sidelined the Hammers have only managed to pick up a solitary point in the Premier League.
Roberto signed on a free transfer this summer and has come into the side but has failed to perform and has subsequently received a great deal of criticism.
The 34-year-old , who is valued at £4.5 million (Transfermarkt), has been speaking to the club’s website and has confirmed his rehabilitation is going well and these supporters cannot wait to see him return in between the posts.
Please rush. Rush, and then rush some more…

You have NO idea how much we miss you man 🙁

We’d rather have you in a wheelchair than Roberto in goal

Just put his shirt and boots in goal. They’ll save more than R?bert? ??

If he’s got one arm and has to play on crutches I cant see him being worse than a fully fit Roberto.

What do we think?
Perhaps somewhat unfairly, Roberto has been made the scapegoat during West Ham’s poor run of form. His performances have been nowhere near the level required at this standard but he’s not the only one who that can be said of. Manuel Pellegrini must take responsibility as well as the rest of his under-performing squad.
In the eyes of the supporters, Fabianski’s return cannot come soon enough but the Hammers will need an up-turn in performance all over the pitch if they’re to climb their way back up the Premier League table.
