Ryan Fredericks has become the latest victim of the ‘copy and paste’ treatment by the West Ham United fans after the 3-0 loss to Burnely.
The quote used by West Ham’s official Twitter was taken from their article, which has many generic quotes they could have gone with instead.
How about: “We get 60,000 turn up every week and credit to them. We’re not doing enough for them.” That could have been a winner, or maybe: “We’re not giving the fans much to sing about and be happy about at the moment.” These are the type of quotes that the Hammers fans a growing tired of.
“This is when we really need to stick together.”

“It’s not down to effort.” There lies the problem.

I’m really bored of seeing stuff like this every week.

Many fans are now feeling that words a meaningless at this stage, they aren’t asking for miracles, just a bit of effort.
Every week a slightly amended platitude attributed to a different player. Words have no effect on those unfortunate enough to have witnessed that abomination last Saturday. Stop the meaningless words and try winning a game, it would be a far more powerful statement. Thanks.

Can all the players and manager stop talking and telling us how you will work hard etc blah blah blah? You keep saying it and then producing another truly awful performance. Do your talking ON the pitch. We are not interested in words

Fixed it for you:
“This is when West Ham PR needs to stop tweeting”

STOP FORCING PLAYERS TO DO THESE STUPID ARTICLES

What Do We Think?
We are not sure who at West Ham keeps posting these, but the fan reaction should probably give them a pretty good idea of how well they are doing down.
Without a win in their last six Premier League matches, perhaps they should spend more time practising drills than drafting up tweets. It’s not going to be getting any easier for Manuel Pellegrini and the players, with tough matches including Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea coming next.
