Many West Ham United fans are annoyed at the thought of just loan moves during the next transfer window.

West Ham are currently the eighth-lowest goal scorers in the Premier League, which may be the cause of a lot of Hammers fans frustration.

The east London side hasn’t been linked with many players so far, with AC Milan’s Suso or to give him his full name Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáenz de la Torre, being the main link so far – according to the Daily Mail.

Some fans discussed whether any money made from the sales of Pedro Obiang and Chicharito would be used to bring in some new faces to the London Stadium.

One fan mentioned a potential loan move for Real Madrid’s struggling Serbian striker Luka Jovic, which would reunite the Frankfurt strike partnership with Sebastien Haller.

What Do We Think?

A loan move for Jovic could be very useful and romantic, but it’s also very unlikely given that he has only just joined Real Madrid this summer for an initial €65m (£56m) transfer fee (The Guardian).

You can never really know how much a club is willing to re-invest in bringing in new players, so for fans to assume the sale of two players means that the club has money to spend, is a bit naive, especially as they forked out around £71m in the summer (TransferMarkt).

Nevertheless, whoever the Hammers decide to bring in has to be able to make an immediate impact, overwise the fans will see the whole thing as a huge waste of time and money!
