West Ham United take on Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium this Saturday and the North London club will be arriving with a brand new Head Coach.
Jose Mourinho was appointed by Spurs on Wednesday morning and is a man who needs no introduction. The 56-year-old has faced West Ham 16 times in his career to date, winning 11, drawing three and losing just twice.
The club’s admin. in anticipation of Jose and Spurs’ visit. have put out a tweet which reads: “See you Saturday, Jose.” However, it hasn’t gone down well with these supporters who are already fearing the worst.
Guaranteed loss.

Serious question – is there a vacancy for Head of Public Relations at West Ham ? … why do we keep doing this ? Do we let 19 year olds loose on the clubs official Twitter page ? Another own goal. I would not let this go live so are such communications authorised ?@karren_brady

What do we think?
If Mourinho did need any further encouragement ahead of the weekend’s London derby, then West Ham’s social media team have just provided it. The new manager bounce appears to be an actual thing and given Jose’s impressive record versus the Hammers down the years, you would have to say there’s a good chance of him leaving East London with all three points.
The tweet will have been intended to breed banter and some back and forth between the two sets of supporters, but what it will actually do is provide the Spurs fans with ammunition should they pick up their first away win in the Premier League since January.
