West Ham United fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that Manuel Pellegrini will have to deal with a restricted cash restraint during the upcoming transfer window.
The tweet was sent out after an article by Claret and Hugh stated: “It’s pretty much a given the manager now has to do the business with what he’s got.”
You don’t need to be a genius to work out how any group of fans would react to a statement like that, although this is yet to be backed publicly by any West Ham official, hence the term ‘pretty much a given’ was used. The Hammers fans were quick to reply to the post, many of them expressing their disappointment around this new rumour.

So spending the saved Chicha wages plus transfer fee in Jan was just the usual lies from the board?

So basically like every other window but 1 since they have been here?

So the blame is put back to Pellegrini that he has the squad he want, not that the board won’t give him money. Never heard a manager say that before.

These fans weren’t even surprised with the rumour, one fan saying that the ‘board behaviour is predictable’ which many have agreed with.
Board behaviour is predictable…. minimal investment, PL survival is their only goal ….

What Do We Think?
If the rumours are true, then that’s basically the board’s way of sacking Pellegrini, as it’s hard to see how West Ham can improve on this terrible form without any investment.
The manager’s tactics could do with some fine-tuning, but if you can’t even bring some fresh legs into the side, even just for competition for places on the team sheet, then your chances are pretty slim.
