Tanguy Ndombele has been quick to establish himself as a fan favourite amongst Spurs fans since joining in the summer, with many fans singing the praises of the 22-year-old after the club tweeted a highlight reel of the former Lyon man.
The Frenchman joined for a club-record deal in August and after a relatively slow start, looks to have cemented a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Ndombele produced another strong midfield display against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday; earning an 8.7 rating for his substantial efforts.
The 22-year-old scored on his debut for Spurs in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa but has found Premier League appearances hard to come by since, starting just six games in the league so far this season. Fans have been calling for Ndombele to start ahead of Harry Winks after his poor start to the season and it seems as if the French midfielder has successfully forced himself into Pochettino’s plans.
Naturally, after strong recent performances and the club tweeting a video of his best moments so far, fans were giving the midfielder a lot of love online.
Some of the best reactions from fans to Ndombele’s Spurs career so far can be seen in the tweets below.

What a player we have on our hands here. Guy is gifted, can pass, shoot, dribble, he’s strong quick and powerful. Can’t wait to see him Sissoko dele and Lo Celso running the show in midfield

Spurs fans are clearly happy with Ndombele’s performances and will definitely be hoping the 22-year-old can extend his recent run in the side.
What do we think?
Ndombele’s performances for Spurs in the Champions League so far have been sensational; averaging a 7.65 across the four games he’s played. If the Frenchman can start to produce these sorts of displays in the Premier League in the future then the £53 million Spurs paid to Lyon looks to be an absolute bargain.
