A lot of Spurs fans were frustrated with manager Mauricio Pochettino after their 1-1 draw with Sheffield United this weekend; with many feeling that it is time for the former Southampton boss to leave the club.
Spurs laboured to a 1-1 draw with newly-promoted Sheffield United and found themselves lucky to not be on the losing side after VAR controversially ruled out a goal for Chris Wilder’s side. Despite the Blades’ impressive start to the season, Spurs fans were far from happy with the result, with many suggesting that Pochettino’s time may be up.
The Argentinian manager joined Spurs from Southampton in 2014 and has led the club to regular top-four finishes since, as well as leading them to the Champions League final last season. However, a dreadful start to the Premier League season has left the club in 14th position; already 11 points off the top four.
In a video posted by the club after Saturday’s draw, Pochettino gives his thoughts on the result and the performance, which many Spurs fans replied to with their opinions on the 47-year-old boss.

Spurs fans were clearly less than happy with Pochettino following the weekend draw, with the majority seemingly now agreeing that he should leave the club.
What do we think?
It would cost a lot to release Pochettino from his contract; which is set to run until 2023, so it would be a surprise to see him sacked unless Spurs are unable to move up the table in the upcoming fixtures.
Spurs’ midweek clash with Red Star Belgrade gave fans a taste of what their side can achieve under Pochettino, but their most recent result appears to have dampened the mood.
