Spurs fans had mixed reactions after it was reported that the club is likely to part ways with manager Mauricio Pochettino, with several European clubs interested in making the Argentinian their new manager.

David Ornstein (via DailyHotspur) reported that Pochettino is a serious candidate for the vacant Bayern Munich job but is also being considered by Real Madrid and Manchester United, should both those teams sack their current managers.

The 47-year-old reached the Champions League final in May but all of this has been forgotten in recent times as the club’s Premier League form has suffered since the 2-0 loss to Liverpool.

Some fans still believe that Pochettino is the right man to take Spurs forward, but others feel that his time is up at the club.

Reaction to the news that Pochettino is the target of other clubs can be seen in the tweets below.

These tweets show that a lot of fans are still in disagreement over the potential future of Pochettino, with many hoping that the 47-year-old will leave, whilst others feel that there aren’t any better options out there.

What do we think?

If Pochettino is given the funds he needs to turn things around in January then they could still have a good season. The reaction from a lot of fans to the draw with Sheffield United seemed too much, after all they are one of the most in-form teams in the division. Upcoming Premier League fixtures against West Ham, Bournemouth and away at Old Trafford are key to whether Pochettino will still be at the club in a month’s time. If Bayern do make an approach, however, it would be no surprise to see the Argentinian leave the club.
