With ongoing speculation from unnamed reports in Spain (via The Sun) of a move to Real Madrid surrounding the player, Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United is fraught with uncertainty. It is unclear what the player himself wants, as he hasn’t come out and definitively requested a transfer, however that doesn’t stop the fans from making educated guesses about the player’s desires.
It’s well known that some Manchester United fans want Pogba to stay, while some want him gone. The United Stand asked fans what they wanted. Of course, there were some who said that he should stay (in fact 58% of respondents felt this was at the time of writing) but many fans made a strong case for letting him go.
These fans want to sell Pogba in order to reinvest the money back into the team.
Doesn’t want to be here, get him out along with his drama, easy 100m+ to transform our midfield.

Play him till he’s here but sell him in the summer for 150+ mil. Replacements like Maddison is available. Buy Maddison and Neves with that 150m.

One fan admits that the player should have already been sold in the summer. And, while another agrees that the player’s fee would offer Manchester United the funds to purchase a replacement, he questions if that’s where the money would be allocated in the team’s budget.
He clearly wants to go. Should have sold him in the summer and reinvested. Bonus if he goes in January is that we might get more money for him. On the other hand trying to replace him in Jan will cost us an arm and a leg.

Pogba wants out… if he plays, we will just be playing with 10 men because mentally he’s checked out… cash him for transfer money
On the other hand… sell him for 100m+ and how much goes into transfers and how much goes in the glazers pocket

What do we think?
If the club does choose to sell Pogba, there is no denying that they would receive large funds for him. While he is valued at £90million (as per Transfermarkt), it is likely that United would receive more for the player if they chose to sell. With the whole of November and December still to come before the winter transfer window opens at the turn of the year, one thing can be considered virtually guaranteed – this transfer saga will continue for as long as it has to.
