Manchester City fans have expressed that they miss Yaya Toure after a club post on the 36-year-old.
On Thursday afternoon, the club posted a goal scored by the Ivorian in a clash against Chelsea from 2013, in a 2-0 victory over the Blues at the Etihad Stadium (per Manchester City).
With many enjoying the trip down memory lane, ahead of the game between the two sides in Saturday’s late kick-off, others aired how much they missed Toure.

The midfielder spent eight years in the blue half of Manchester, having arrived in 2010 from Barcelona for £24 million (per BBC).
After 316 games, 79 goals and 50 assists in City blue, the Ivorian departed the Etihad in the summer of 2018 (via The Guardian).
With many stating how much they missed the 36-year-old’s presence at City, others paid testament to the abilities of the midfielder.

What do we think?
Having arrived right at the start of the Manchester City revolution, Toure was a key figure which has led to Pep Guardiola’s fantastic blues that we see today.
With 129 goal involvements across eight seasons with City, as a midfielder, it is difficult not to have considered him as world-class at one point or another.
