Everton supporters have shown their frustration following Son Heung-min’s three-match suspension being overturned.
Tottenham Hotspur’s South Korean attacker was shown red when the two sides met on Sunday, for a challenge which left Andre Gomes with a fractured and dislocated ankle (via BBC).
Indeed, with Son’s straight red card and resulting three-match ban for the challenge overturned by the FA (per Daily Mail), fans were furious that the 27-year-old will go unpunished for leaving their Portuguese midfielder with a rather devastating injury.
Just adds insult to injury , poor from the fa the player and spurs

Everton’s Portuguese 26-year-old is recovering well following surgery on Monday and has returned to Finch Farm to continue his rehabilitation (as per Daily Express), however, will be sidelined for months (via The Sun).
Despite the positive news on Gomes’ injury, the incident has now left an even sourer taste in the mouths of Toffees fans – with some slamming the FA.
This tells you all you need to know about how corrupt @FA are

A joke decision

Why am I not surprised. Certain sides get a break all the time but not Everton. Certain VAR decisions have gone against us and we haven’t been treated fairly at all.

What do we think?
Initially, there were many discussions around if Son should have been sent off in the first place, having been due to receive a yellow card before the severity of the injury transpired (as per Evening Standard).
However, following a statement from the Premier League explaining the ban (via Sky Sports), it seems odd the FA should go over their heads and rescind the red card.
