Everton supporters have expressed their desire to see the club sign Djibril Sidibe after he impressed against Southampton.
The 27-year-old Frenchman showed was solid in Saturday’s 2-1 victory over the Saints, having also provided the assist for Richarlison’s second-half winner (via The Guardian).
The £10.8-million rated man is currently on loan at Goodison Park, but the Toffees have an option to buy the Frenchman should they wish (as per BBC).
Since arriving in Merseyside during the summer, the 27-year-old has made seven appearances for Marco Silva’s side in league and cup – having only begun to nail down a starting spot in recent weeks (via Transfermarkt).
With Toffees supporters more impressed with the 27-year-old each passing week, many called for Sidibe’s stay at Goodison Park to be made more permanent:
Thought he did brilliantly to recover after the start in the second half, sign him lads

What do we think?
The 27-year-old has only just begun to show his talents in Everton blue, with a 6.84/10 average rating for the season so far (per Whoscored).
Therefore, the Toffees will deliberate for a little while longer before making any hard and fast decisions as to whether they want the Frenchman more permanently.
However, should he continue to pick up 7/10s, as he did at St. Mary’s (as per Liverpool Echo), then the Merseyside club surely won’t need much convincing.
