Everton supporters have called on Marco Silva to give Cenk Tosun his first start of the season against Southampton.
Last time out for the Toffees the Turkish striker managed to bag an injury-time equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park (as per BBC).
With Silva’s side struggling to find consistent form in the Premier League (via Daily Star), many supporters called for the 28-year-old to freshen up the front line.

Has to start Cenk Tosun against Saints.. Plus has to resist playing Schneiderlin in midfield whenever there are other options such as Delph/Davies/Baningime/Gordon.

The former Besiktas striker has featured for the Toffees on only four occasions so far this term, in four substitute appearances amassing just 83 minutes (via Transfermarkt).
Reports in recent weeks have suggested the Turkish international is looking to depart Goodison Park on the hunt for more first-team minutes with Euro 2020 on the horizon (as per Liverpool Echo).
However, supporters were pleased to see the 28-year-old fully immersed in first-team training at Finch Farm (via Everton), tipping him for a starting role at St. Mary’s on Saturday.

What do we think?
Tosun managed to bag himself a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last time out, which could be enough to see him start ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whose last goal came in the 3-2 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in late October (per Sky Sports).
With a 6.52/10 average in an Everton shirt this season for the young Englishman (per Whoscored), it may be time for Silva to try out an alternative.
