Everton supporters have slammed the direction that the club is going in following Farhad Moshiri’s takeover.
On Wednesday, it was five years to the day since the Toffees qualified for the last 32 of the Europa League with a 2-0 victory over German outfit Wolfsburg (via The Blue Room).
With supporters reflecting on the club’s downward spiral since 2014, many were frustrated with the direction of the club and even blamed Iranian ower, Moshiri, for the capitulation.
Part of me wishes Moshiri never ever happened.
I know that sounds silly to some but he’s taken us backwards with woeful decision after woeful decision.— Matt (@africansunset73) November 28, 2019

Overall, has Farhad Moshiri had a positive or negative impact on Everton?
Positive, it's not his fault
Negative, he's made bad decisions
The Toffees’ 64-year-old owner has a 77.2% stake in the Goodison Park club (as per The Guardian).
Moshiri had initially bought into the club with a 49.9% stake in 2016 (per BBC), however, upped his share in 2018 to the current figure.
With times looking difficult for the Merseyside club, due to rumours swirling over Marco Silva facing the sack (as per Daily Express), many looked back and wondered where it all went wrong.
That Wolfsburg team finished second that year and we absolutely ruined them. Where did it all go wrong?

Remember the last game in that group against Krasnador we played the kids because we qualified with a game to spare

What do we think?
Since the days of their prolonged Europa League involvement, times have certainly turned sour for the Goodison Park club, with a European place now something of a dream for supporters.
With a return to the Toffees for David Moyes possibly on the horizon (as per The Mirror), only time will tell if the Scot can bring the good times back to the blue half of Merseyside.
