Everton supporters have aired their delight over the impact Alex Iwobi has made since signing in the summer.
The 23-year-old Nigerian signed for the Toffees from Arsenal and represents a fair chunk of the club’s £108-million summer spending spree, setting the Merseyside club back £34 million (via BBC).
Iwobi signed on a five-year deal for Marco Silva’s side and fans were delighted with how their man is progressing at Goodison Park.
Boss, always on the front foot & trys to be penetrative

Great number 10. Really impressed in the West Ham game (other than his miss ). Wasted on the wings. The natural successor to Gylfi

Settled in very well and getting better game by game

Very influential. Brings the best out in those around him with the option and creativity he offers. Personally, should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

The attacker has featured in 13 league and cup outings for the Toffees so far this term, bagging two goals and an assist over those games (via Transfermarkt).
He has been predominantly deployed in either the classic number ten role, or as a left-winger; in the latter particularly since the injury to Bernard (as per Everton).
With the 23-year-old flicking between the two positions, Everton supporters were clear on where their man should be playing for the Toffees.
Hes proven me wrong. He’s been one of our better players and I’m sure there’s plenty more to come! Love him in the AM role too.

Looks good. Would be really good in a number 10 instead of on the wing, creative, just needs to improve on some of his decision making imo

Promising signs for me, a lot of talent especially in the #10 position, not a fan of him out on the wings!
He exploits pockets of space fantastically, something Gyfli needs to do more of— Andrew Burns (@Andy_B1997) November 11, 2019
A much better footballer than I ever saw at Arsenal (not that I watched him much). Playing him as a 10 makes us a better team. Not perfect but such a positive player to have. Made up with him.

What do we think?
While stationed on the left-hand side, Iwobi has an average rating, when deeper a 6.31/10, and when more advanced as a winger an average of 6.77/10 (as per Whoscored).
However, his best average rating comes when he is in the number ten role, with an average of 7.02/10 (per Whoscored), proving he performs best when centrally.
When Bernard returns from injury to occupy the left-wing again, the Toffees faithful should see the Nigerian move back, more centrally, where he has performed best.
