Everton supporters are delighted with the club’s latest update on the building of their new 52,000-seater stadium.
On Wednesday, the club revealed that planning applications were due to be submitted after a large-scale survey of local Merseyside residents (as per Everton).
The survey, which received more than 43,000 responses from locals saw 98 per cent of all respondents support the proposed Bramley-Moore Dock waterfront stadium.
With the latest update coming as good news for the building of the stadium, many supporters were delighted with the club’s positive survey.

The Toffees revealed the plans for the new £500-million stadium in late July of this year, which will, reportedly, be ready for the 2023-24 season at the earliest (as per The Guardian).
Despite the three-year build time that has been envisaged (via The Guardian), supporters were keen for their club to get things underway for the new stadium.

What do we think?
While it will be a long time before a ball is kicked on the turf of the Toffees’ new stadium, it is good to see the plans are still moving in the right direction.
