Supporters of Everton have expressed their desire to see Moise Kean get a starting spot in Saturday’s clash with Norwich City.
The Toffees’ 19-year-old striker has been dragged through the rumour mill of late, with many reports linking the Italian with a move back to his home country and Roberto Mancini backing him to move (via Liverpool Echo).
Reports have stemmed from his lack of minutes on the pitch under Marco Silva, having started just two league games in nine Premier League appearances for Goodison Park club (per Transfermarkt).
With Everton supporters still itching to see the striker given time to perform in Merseyside, many wanted to see him given the green light for a start against the Canaries.

Gave DCL a couple of years why not give him a couple of games

The Toffees secured the services of the 19-year-old from Juventus over the summer, in a deal which could cost the Goodison Park club up to £27.5 million (as per BBC).
Over the recent international break, Kean impressed for his country’s Under-21s and bagged a brace against Armenia in a 6-0 thrashing (per Sky Sports).
However, despite supporters wanting to see the Italian given some first-team minutes soon, many felt there was one stumbling block that would get in his way.
Don’t see him getting any significant minutes, unfortunately.
Silva will probably be thinking that it’s one of his best chances to pick up some points for a while, and as the unknown quantity, Kean is paying the price for Silva’s job insecurity.
I reckon DCL starts up front.

Yes but Silva won’t.

Why not on the back of him banging in 2 for Italy u21’s but Silva isn’t that cavalier a coach so agree with @batchybaby that he probably won’t

What do we think?
The continuing media storm that surrounds the 19-year-old and his potential January departure from Everton will not be helping his confidence for scoring goals.
However, one thing is for sure, he will not be able to do anything about his goalscoring form is Silva does not start him – and only time will tell if he will do against the Canaries.
