Everton could be set to be offered the chance to sign Krzysztof Piatek, according to Calciomercato.

The Italian news outlet has reported that the Polish striker could be offered to Marco Silva as part of a swap deal after struggling for form this season (via Sport Witness).

As part of the swap deal, struggling Toffees forward, Moise Kean, would move in the opposite direction – with the Rossoneri interested in signing the young Italian (as per Calciomercato).

Both struggling for form

The basis of the deal would be, ‘we will take your struggling striker if you take ours’ – essentially.

Kean has not found the net yet in 11 league and cup outings under Marco Silva (per Transfermarkt), where Piatek has netted three in 12 Serie A outings (per Transfermarkt).

TiF Tactics – Would the swap be good for Everton?

As unlikely as the deal itself may sound, it would be hard not to argue that the Toffees would come out of this swap deal much better.

Despite Piatek, who is valued at £36 million (Transfermarkt), being five years the senior of Kean, he is still only a 24-year-old, with plenty of potential for growth ahead of him.

After signing for the Rossoneri for £31 million in January of this year (per The Guardian), the Polish striker had an impressive back end of last season bagging nine in 18 Serie A appearances (per Transfermarkt).

Despite falling on stonier form this term, he still has three goals in 12 outings and an average rating of 6.51 for the season (via Whoscored), better than Kean’s no goals in 11 and 6.3/10 for the season (as per Whoscored).

However, Everton’s 19-year-old Italian still needs time to settle in at Goodison Park, which he should be given, so maybe this swap deal should be held off on for the time being.
