Everton supporters have stated that they do not want to see Unai Emery replace Marco Silva at Goodison Park.
On Friday morning, the Spaniard was relieved of his duties by the Gunners following their 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt at the Emirates Stadium the night previous (as per BBC).
With the Toffees manager staring down the barrel of the sack himself (as per The Mirror), many ruled out wanting Emery to replace the Portuguese 42-year-old.
Go on I’ll ask the question?
Would you have Unai Emery at Everton?

Before Arsenal, yes. Not now. These players wouldn’t respect him while he’s generally seen as a bit of a laughing stock in this country.

He’s a good manager, but in many respects we are similar to Arsenal in how we quickly become a very toxic football club. Emery walking from one disaster into another wouldn’t make much sense. He will go elsewhere in Europe and do well.

Mo, as the guy is doing nothing great with a better squad than ours

Would Unai Emery make a good replacement for Marco Silva?Yes, he's still classNo, he's finished |
The Gunners currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, eight places higher than the Toffees, who are in 16th (as per BBC).
Despite the hefty gap between the two clubs in the table, the two sides have won the same number of games so far this term, with four, only differing in drawn and lost games.
Though Emery has nine pieces of silverware under his managerial belt (as per Transfermarkt), Everton supporters were still not interested.
If he cant get arsenal playing then what’s he going to do with the crabs we’ve got

Why appoint Marco silva when we have Marco silva
— Louis Crawford (@LouisCrawford10) November 29, 2019
His voice is unacceptable.
— Local Stuntman (@SCOA22) November 29, 2019
No, because our fans will hate him.

What do we think?
While the Spanish gaffer found it difficult to create any real success in North London, he is still a top-class manager that will surely go on to have success elsewhere.
As a winner of six pieces of silverware in two years with PSG, after having won three Europa League titles with Sevilla (per Transfermarkt), it is clear that he has the talent.
Either way, it is doubtful that the Toffees’ hierarchy will have Emery high up on their wanted list should Silva get the chop.
