Everton supporters have shown their delight following an injury update from Marco Silva on who is set to miss the game against Leicester City.

On Friday afternoon, the Toffees’ Portuguese gaffer revealed that Fabian Delph, Morgan Schneiderlin, Theo Walcott and Seamus Coleman were all injury doubts for the clash with the Foxes (as per Everton).

With the news being shared to Toffees fans (via Everton News Feed), many had a bizarre sense of delight about who would no be available for selection.

Will the injured players be a big miss for Marco Silva?

No, they're not good enough

The absentees for the Toffees will leave Silva with only the barebones of his midfield to choose from, with Beni Baningime also out injured following the Under-21’s clash with Fleetwood Town (as per Patrick Boyland).

However, some supporters believed that it did not present a selection issue for the Portuguese 42-year-old as those injured were not the required standard for the Goodison Park club anyway.

What do we think?

It is absolutely clear that the mood in the blue half of Merseyside is a sour one, due to the cloud hanging over the club’s current boss, Silva (as per BBC).

However, the reaction is still a bizarre one, as supporters should want a full ensemble for the manager to chose from – regardless of who it is.
