The 18-year-old is yet to make his first senior appearance for the Toffees this season, but has already tasted first-team minutes for the Toffees in a short Europa League cameo in 2016 (per Liverpool Echo).
With the youngster tipped for big things at Goodison Park (via Liverpool Echo), some wanted to see Marco Silva give him his chance and others to see him given time by the fans.

I hope when Anthony Gordon finally takes to the field we hold him up, rather than the horrible sniping that goes with a performance that might not match Messi in his majesty.

What do we think?
The strike for the Three Lions’ Under-19s is one of immense quality and precision, but he should not be given a role in the first team based on that alone.
However, it seems likely that his ability and consistency will see him rewarded with his first-team opportunity before too long (via Liverpool Echo).
