TIF Tactics – Arsenal could use their Brazilian connections to good effect

Flamengo currently sit top of the Brazilian Serie A table and the starlet in question has made 11 appearances despite not having had his 18th birthday yet. In those few games, he has scored an impressive four goals and provided two assists – you can see why he’s attracting the attention of some of world football’s biggest names.

He usually operates as a central attacking-midfield player according to WhoScored.com but is said to be versatile and able to operate from wide areas too. It appears with Edu being recently appointed as the clubs Technical Director, the Gunners could be regularly dipping into the South American market just like they did with Gabriel Martinelli this summer – a player who’s proven to be a massive hit.

Edu’s knowledge of the Brazilian national team and the talent emerging can be of great use to the Gunners as they look to close the gap on Europe’s finest through smart recruitment.
