Despite suggestions that the Arsenal board remain 100% behind Unai Emery, links with potential successors continue to emerge thick and fast. The latest reports suggest Raul Sanllehi is keen on former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique and that has been supported by El Confidencial journalist Kike Marin.
Enrique led Barcelona to the treble in the 2014/15 season and has also had spells at Celta Vigo and Roma but these supporters are not convinced he’s the right man to improve the Gunners.
don’t want Enrique unless he’s 100% focused on the job & ready to go.
with the family tragedy, it might be tough to come back strong so quick.

What do we think?
Enrique enjoyed great success at the Camp Nou, but given the talent already at the club and a certain Argentinian who goes by the name of Lionel Messi happened to be there, it’s perhaps not the best barometer of his suitability to the Arsenal.
However, the harsh reality is that Arsenal are no longer a Champions League club and seem to be a million miles from challenging for the Premier League title, therefore as the old saying goes: “beggars can’t be choosers.”
The fact these Arsenal supporters are not keen on the 49-year-old is probably more down to the fact he’s unlikely to receive the financial backing he would need to thrive, therefore, somebody with a proven track record of working on a smaller, tighter budget could be the more sensible approach to take.
