Granit Xhaka is reportedly set to quit Arsenal and head off to Italy to sign for AC Milan according to RSI Sport. The Swiss international has been the subject of much controversy since his angry exchange with the Arsenal supporters during their 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
Since the incident, Xhaka has been left out of the squad and Unai Emery has refused to confirm whether or not the 27-year-old will ever play for the club again.
If the reports are accurate and Xhaka is set to jet off to Milan never to return to the Emirates Stadium, these fans would be delighted.

What do we think?
It’s difficult to envisage Xhaka ever returning to the Arsenal team after all that has occurred. It would almost be as though some sections of the clubs support would be waiting for him to slip up in order to fuel their anger and make their feelings towards him known once more.
Arsenal would be losing a competent midfielder in the Switzerland international, contrary to popular opinion, and the fact the team’s performances have deteriorated further in his absence serves to support that very point.
Arsenal and the player need to draw a line under this entire incident and, if the only way that’s possible is for the midfielder to leave the club, then so be it.
