Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored two goals for Wales in their victory over Hungary at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night. The win saw Ryan Giggs’ side qualify for the Euro 2020 finals to be staged next summer and was met with jubilant celebrations in the Welsh capital.
The 28-year-old left North London at the end of last season and joined Italian champions Juventus but is still fondly remembered by the Gunners faithful.
Ramsey’s brace came as a result of his trade-mark late surges into the opponent’s penalty area and these fans have taken to social media to express just how much they miss him.
we still love you @aaronramsey

The decision to allow Ramsey to leave for free has been labelled as one of Unai Emery’s and the clubs biggest errors in recent seasons.
Emery is failing spectacularly. Tearing the team apart.

What do we think?
Ramsey was and remains an Arsenal hero. The Welshman scored two FA Cup final winning goals in the famous red and white of Arsenal and despite a contract dispute with the club that ultimately led to his departure, he has never spoken badly about the club or any of the staff involved.
Perhaps the fact he moved abroad has made it slightly easier for the clubs fans to accept, how does that old saying go? Out of sight, out of mind. But Ramsey’s contribution to such a key moment in his nations footballing history has stirred up old feelings and served as a reminder of what this incredible footballer is capable of.
Whichever way you look at it, losing Ramsey, who is now valued at £36m by TransferMarkt, was a huge blow to Arsenal Football Club and given the club’s current poor run of form, the supporters are going to look back on the decision to withdraw the offer which was on the table with regret.
