Some Birmingham City fans can’t believe that the club’s target Jeremie Bela has been pictured with a jersey of the club recently and the image has gone viral on social media.
Bela, 26, is currently said to be in the middle of a contractual dispute with his club Albacete. He is listed as a free-agent on Transfermarkt but the club have claimed that they have extended his deal for a further year.
A striker or a left-winger by trade, Bela has also been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest in recent weeks.

The Angolan has previously plied his trade in France with Dijon and Lens too, but he joined Albacete in the summer of 2017.
He has played 77 times in the Ligue 2 for both Dijon and Lens combined. He scored 11 times, assisting thrice. In his time at La Liga 2, he has played 67 times and has 16 times during his time there.
More fans, though, were positive about the news that he can sign for the Blues.
Lets hope hes kept himself fit and we dont take too long to get him in the squad , his pace could really help us out up top and hopefully he will be a gem too #kro

Let’s assume he will need to get up to speed with training and fitness etc, doubt we will see him much before the new year anyway, based on our other signings this summer I’m looking forward to seeing him

What do we think
Numbers and his past records suggest that Bela is a highly experienced player and can get useful goals for any club he plays at. Birmingham can make do with some goals, considering they have scored the sixth-lowest number of goals in the Championship this season, standing at just 16 in their 15 matches so far.
