Many Queens Park Rangers fans are angry at the defence after losing 3-1 at home to Brentford on Monday night.
Despite centre-back Grant Hall scoring the equaliser in the 48th minute, the R’s defence was under fire by the fans after the game.
The Hoops are yet to keep a clean sheet all season, making the defence an easy target for the blame. German centre-back Toni Leistner had the worst WhoScored rating with 5.8/10.
Rangers reportedly had a bid for Aberdeen centre-back Scott Mckenna rejected in August 2019, perhaps in January the Superhoops can try again.

Goals win games fact. Clean sheets wins points fact. Defence needs major alterations

QPR right-back Angel Rangel had the most touches in the game with 79, he also managed an impressive pass success ratio of 75% – as per Whoscored.
Was that the same ref as last Tuesday night still, can’t blame him for everything the defence once again was shocking

What Do We Think?
QPR definitely need to buy at least one centre-back in the next window. When looking at the stats for the defence in the last game, Ryan Manning, Hall and Angel Rangel all had acceptable matches, with none of them achieving a WhoScored rating below six, with the lowest being Rangel on 6.3/10.
The standout poor performer has to be Leistner, with the 29-year-old making just one tackle and also being dispossessed once. When compared to Hall’s performance you see just how poorly the German played, with the Englishman making four tackles and never being dispossessed – as per WhoScored.
