Some Celtic fans on Twitter have criticised TV presenter and former newspaper editor Piers Morgan on Twitter after the host posted a tweet about former left-back Kieran Tierney.
The divisive Good Morning Britain anchor is a devout Arsenal fan and tweeted his support of Tierney’s appearance in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, stating that the player ‘looks the real deal’.
This kid looks the real deal. ??@kierantierney1? #afccpfc pic.twitter.com/hftjdN89gY

Many Bhoys fans were quick to reply to Morgan’s tweet, assuring him that the player has been a strong performer for years in a Celtic shirt.

The 22-year-old was making his first Premier League appearance for Arsenal since his £25million move in the summer, before being replaced in the 75th minute by Sead Kolasinac.
What do we think?
Harmless mistake or football ignorance? Piers Morgan may be knowledgeable on all things Arsenal, but he might need to brush up on some non-Gunners news, given that Tierney has been lighting up Scottish and European football for Celtic as a mainstay in the side over the last four years. However, praise is praise at the end of the day.
