West Ham’s meeting with Sheffield United this weekend is the first clash between the teams since the Blades were relegated from the Premier League 12 years ago.
At the time there was bad blood between the two teams; however, speaking to the The Daily Mail ahead of this game, Chris Wilder has made it clear that to him it’s just water under the bridge.
What a bloke Chris Wilder is. Very classy comments from him on #WHUFC: pic.twitter.com/EPfzQuCdew

Water under the bridge maybe, but both sets of fans came out of it raging because at the end of the day, neither got what they wanted! It will be a pretty tasty atmosphere, and I think that will transfer onto the pitch. If Wilder is smart, he’ll be stoking a fire in his players

The Irons will still be fired up and ready for today’s clash, but Wilder’s comments have certainly cooled the air ahead of this one.
Is classy!!…. just hope his team isn’t on Saturday
