Liverpool fans will not care how they won their sixth Champions League title back in June, all that matters is that they lifted the trophy in Madrid and Tottenham didn’t.
However; Burnley manager Sean Dyche has recently been Speaking to The Daily Star where he accused the European champions of deploying anti-footballing tactics in their 2-0 win over Tottenham, by claiming:
‘You soon swallow your pride about playing out from your own six-yard box if you stop losing and start winning.’
‘Check out Liverpool’s passing stats in the Champions League final – 67 per cent pass completion, only 280 passes in 90 minutes.’
The Burnley boss doesn’t sound impressed by the Reds’ performance https://t.co/obIKT0hqHc

Whilst the Burnley man wasn’t critical of the tactics that Jurgen Klopp used in the Champions League final, a lot of Liverpool fans believe that he was and have laid into the Clarets’ boss on Twitter, making snide remarks that he’ll never get close to winning a Champions League.
Ha ha! Dyche won’t ever have to worry about how he’d set his team up to play in a CL final.

The closest dyche will ever get to a champions league final is talking about one.

Two things Dyche will never win as a manager..
1 European Cup
2 Anything— Irish Kop (@irishkop1980) October 25, 2019
Nah ignore him … does he don’t know anything bout Epf let alone CL

Some of the more reasonable Reds, though, have acknowledged the points that Dyche was making about the way they played, realising that he was far from slating them and haven’t been going in as hard on the Burnley man as those who tweeted above.
Don’t think he’s ripping into Klopp, think he’s saying sometimes that’s how you win the game.

Guys, read the article He praises the pragmatism of the team/Klopp.

I think it’s clearly sarcasm. He’s using it as an example of how the football he is always criticised for using was used by us in the second half of the final. Nothing to complain about at all.

He’s actually making a valid point. We were ‘awful’ in the final, but needs must. He was there co-commentating for BBC Radio that night and a few of you reactive bait-biters need to listen to his praise of us that evening. He was a boyhood Red too… Don’t be a sheep…
