The career that Naby Keita has made for himself at Anfield hasn’t hit the heights that many fans thought it would.
The Guinean midfielder made a name for himself at RB Leipzig, bagging a combined 32 goals and assists in just 71 games for the club. At Liverpool, though, he’s been less impressive.
Still, at just 24-years-old, the midfielder moved to Anfield in the summer of 2018 having agreed to sign for the Reds for a then-club-record fee of £48m (BBC) a year earlier, although it could be now, one year on from his eventual move, that he starts to show what he can do.
Klopp on Keita: "Naby has looked really good in training. The best news of the whole day (at Old Trafford) was that the three boys (who came on) could perform like that."

The midfielder made his first Premier League appearance of the season against Manchester United last weekend, when he came on for eight minutes, spraying the ball out to Andy Robertson who would tee up Adam Lallana’s equaliser, and now the Reds want to see him starting.
Ok. Start him then

Injuries did play their part during Keita’s debut season. According to Transfermarkt the Guinean missed 11 games through injury, and that doesn’t factor in the time it will have taken for the ex-Leipzig man to acquire match fitness, and lots of fans are expecting big things should he stay fit.
Naby was a game changer, if he can stay fit that’s keeo that level those low blocks will get dealt with.

I think Keita will become one of our world class players in next couple of seasons.
