Some Manchester United are overjoyed at the record-breaking performance of Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the club against Norwich City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men picked up their second away win in a row in all competitions with the 3-1 triumph at Carrow Road. Goals from Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford were enough to help United climb up to seventh in the table.
The performance of 21-year-old Wan-Bissaka caught the eyes of many. The summer signing from Crystal Palace made as many as 11 tackles in the whole game – a Premier League record so far this season.
Red Devils’ fans are overjoyed at Wan-Bissaka’s record-setting game.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka won 11 tackles vs. Norwich City, more than any other Premier League player has won in a single game this season.

Wan-Bissaka arrived at Old Trafford from Palace this past summer for a fee of £45m plus £5m in add-ons. Since arriving, the Englishman has appeared nine times in all competitions for United.
So far, Wan-Bissaka has made the highest number of tackles per game in the Premier League with an average of 5.5. That is more than the likes of Ricardo Pereira and Wilfried Ndidi (as per Whoscored).
The 21-year-old has also made 1.8 interceptions per game and that is the second-highest at the club, only second behind Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese has, however, played only one Premier League match so far this season.
While Wan-Bissaka’s performance did draw praise, some fans also felt that this highlighted how bad the United defence can be.
11 tackles against a Norwich team battling relegation says a lot..

That just shows that United spend half their time defending instead of attacking. Theres a reason why no city or liverpool players make as many tackles.

During his time at Selhurst Park last season, the right-back made the third-highest number of tackles per game for the Eagles at an average of 3.7. He was behind only Ndidi and Paris Saint-Germain’s summer signing Idrissa Gueye.
Not just that, but the 21-year-old was the league’s fifth-best interceptor in the league with a tally of 2.4 interceptions per game.
A product of the Palace youth academy, the full-back made his debut for the Eagles in February 2018 against Tottenham.
What do we think?
He is one of the Premier League’s best right-backs. However, Wan-Bissaka’s stats show that he is arguably the best defensive full-back in the country. He does have a long way to go to one of the best in the world, but he is on the right track and seems to be at the right club.
