Some Manchester United fans seem delighted that Jesse Lingard’s clothing brand has incurred losses in its first year.
JLingz, which started off last year, deals in selling clothes and accessories and bears the logo of Lingard’s goal celebration.
The Mirror have reported that the first set of accounts have registered a loss of about £211,688. They say that this is the amount that the company owes to its creditors.
Some United fans are apparently delighted that the England international’s company has incurred these losses. They feel it reflects his performances on the pitch in recent months.
Why am I not surprised nobody wants to wear clothes with ‘JLINGZ’ written on it? Focus on ur football Jesse

Currently 26, Lingard has appeared six times in the Premier League this season. He has made four starts, coming off the bench twice so far.
The Englishman is yet to score or assist for the club so far this season. He has also appeared twice in the UEFA Europa League, without contributing directly to any of United’s goals.
The last time Lingard scored for the Old Trafford side was at the end of last year – during United’s first game under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer away to Cardiff. He grabbed a brace in a dominating 5-1 win over the Welsh side.
Some United fans mocked that the midfielder is still a young player and would learn soon.
Why so much hate for a 17 year old future star and already has his own brand unbelievable!

He’s still very young he’s going to learn from his mistakes. By the time he’s 27 he’ll make it.

Lingard came off the bench in United’s recent 3-1 win over Norwich City. The game saw the Red Devils miss two penalties but both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial made up for those misses by scoring a goal each.
The former Derby County man played the full 90 minutes of United’s 1-0 win over Partizan Belgrade last Thursday as the game saw Martial slot away a penalty to hand the side all three points.
What do we think
The criticism for Lingard is justified and warranted. He hasn’t been good enough since the early part of Solskjaer’s era and that explains why Andreas Pereira was preferred in games against Liverpool and against the Canaries this past week.
Pereira needs to play more often and with Rashford and Martial now back playing together, expect Lingard to spend more time on the bench.
