Timo Werner may be regarded as one of the Bundesliga’s hottest properties, but some fans aren’t exactly sure whether he’d fit into Jurgen Klopp’s squad. The long-time Bayern Munich target has recently signed a new deal with his club RB Leipzig, but despite that, speculation continues to swirl over his long-term future.
The-23-year-old has started the season in fine form for RB Leipzig, netting six times in nine appearances for the East German outfit in the Bundesliga. Interestingly, Liverpool have supposedly opened talks over a deal for Timo Werner and the RB Leipzig striker is keen to head to Anfield, transfer expert Ian McGarry claims (via Express).
However, it would appear that some fans aren’t entirely sold on the German international, despite his impressive recent run of form:

Not good enough for LFC

Nope. I’d like Poulsen as rotation striker. More strenght and another type of striker

For some, Werner simply isn’t viewed as good enough to make it into Liverpool’s team:
Not needed. Only improvement would be Aouar

Not good enough for LFC or the premier league

What we think?
Timo Werner, who is valued at £58.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), doesn’t appear to be going anywhere soon right now, as his current level of performance in an evolving RB Leipzig side appears to be a good fit for the moment. However, some of the objections to Werner joining Liverpool strike us as slightly unwarranted, given his quality. On top of that, the German could fit into Klopp’s side very well, as he’s a counter attack threat and loves to attack the opposition with his dribbling ability, as well as a couple of his strengths being his passing and finishing ability (as per WhoScored).
