Everton fans headed for Twitter last night following their 2-0 victory over Watford to praise the performance of Theo Walcott.
The 30-year-old Englishman began the evening on the bench but was brought on as a half-time substitute by Marco Silva, replacing 19-year-old Moise Kean.
While supporters were frustrated with Kean being hauled off the pitch only 45 minutes in, fans were delighted with the performance that Walcott produced in the second half.
With many believing that the former Arsenal man has not yet hit his best form in a blue shirt (per Talksport), some believed he was finally starting to live up to his £20.25 million transfer fee (via Transfermarkt).
Is right Theo! Great performance from you tonight. Roll on Spurs

Fast becoming a favourite with all these hard working performances. Your Everton career all of a sudden looks like it could be something everyone looks back on. You’ve just got to keep up the hard work it’s a minimum requirement in a blue shirt well played mate

The Englishman has featured seven times for the Toffees in the Premier League this season, with only two of them coming in the form of a starting spot and in neither completed the full 90 minutes (per Transfermarkt).
Having arrived for the hefty fee, north of £20 million, Walcott has featured in 63 games – scoring nine and assisting six – during his, almost, two years with the club.
Indeed, many fans are relieved to see their man finally come good with two assists in his previous three outings.
Changed the game when you came on well in lads missed the game as in Basingstoke hospital with me wife as baby wants to make a early appearance coyb

Nice one last night Theo.
We didn’t actually have much luck in front of goal – it could easily have been 4 or 5 – but the attitude was right, and we got the result.
Now let’s climb up that league boys! #NSNO

What do we think?
Up until his previous few outings, Walcott had left a lot to be desired after how many millions it took to get the 30-year-old to Merseyside.
However, after picking up a 7/10 (per Liverpool Echo) and an assist from his 45-minute display against Watford on Tuesday, Walcott could be on the way back to his best.
