Twitter can be a very toxic place for football fans when their club isn’t winning games and are struggling for form, and that seems to be the case with West Ham at the moment.
The club have claimed Andriy Yarmolenko was ready for this weekend’s game, but the fans didn’t receive it well.
The tweet linked to an article where Yarmolenko spoke to whufc.com about being ready for the visit of Sheffield United, although considering that the supporters have had to endure a four-game winless streak you can see why they’re not all excited for their next game.

The Ukranian international will no doubt be doing all he can to try and get the Irons back to winning ways, and the fact that he’s bagged three goals in his eight Premier League games, shows that he’s far from not pulling his weight, and the fans know that much.
What’s the point of one person being ready

Are the other 10 gonna turn up this time or…?

These fans below, though, are taking a much different take on this, and in the replies, they’ve been making sure that the players are aware of the importance of this game. West Ham vs Sheffield United has become a grudge match because of Carlos Tevez, compensation and third-party ownership, explained by Football.London, and nothing but a win will do for the Hammers this weekend.
You’ll need it to,because there’s still bad blood between the clubs, over the 50 million pounds, with the Tevez saga, and their relegation.

We need to make the players aware that Sheffield United be well up for this after Tevez gate.
