Tottenham’s 5-0 win over Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday was a much-needed return to winning ways for the Lilywhites.
The goals on the night came from the feet of Heung-Min Son, Harry Kane and Erik Lamela, but when it came to laying the goals on and assisting, Tanguy Ndombele was one of the stars.
The Lilywhites’ #28 completed three key passes on the night but was just as solid helping out defensively, too, as he amassed three tackles and two interceptions against the Serbian SuperLiga’s 1st placed side (WhoScored).

The performance of the Frenchman was much better than his last Champions League outing. In that fateful 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich just over three weeks ago he earned a 6/10 rating (The Independent). On Tuesday, he was much more impressive, picking up an 8/10 (Sky Sports).

At the age of just 22-years-old, Ndombele’s ability is certainly worth getting excited about. Especially so because he’s played just 140 games at senior club level as a professional and hasn’t peaked yet, with the fans below touting him as the future of their club.
